TROUT STOCKING
The annual trout stocking event will be April 1st @ 8:30 am. The stock truck can show up between 8:15 am and 8:45 am, get to the boathouse early so you do not miss the stocking event. The fishing club will be providing coffee, hot chocolate, and donuts.
The fishing club encourages our young anglers to come and get "hooked" on stocking Lake Parsippany with trout.
We will be stocking 348 trout. 340 will be, 12 to 14 inches, 2 17-19 inches, 2 19 to 21 inches, 2 23 to 24 and 1 25 to 26 inches.
The fishing club is looking to our dedicated and generous members to sponsor these large trout. Sponsorship associates a prize to the large, tagged trout. So not only do anglers get the thrill and excitement of catching a large, sponsored trout, it’s like cracker jacks, the base product is very good but even better when there is prize.
